Learning Communication From the Family Sphere

As a parent, who likes to be confused when your child's holidays start?I belong to that group!I feel responsible for providing a meaningful &unforgettable for my children, especially my first daughter.

My deepest desire is to invite my children to play with nature, but there are many other considerations for me and my family.Considering that my second child is still a baby whose skin is very fragile and sensitive, especially considering the uncertain weather, I decided against that intention.Until finally, as an urbanite, taking my children to the shopping mall is a ninja move for me.

This is a challenge for me as a parent to think creatively when packing a holiday at a shopping mall.I try to invite my child to play in the supermarket with a trivia quiz (Example: try to name Dad & Mom's favorite drink!).Another game adapts to my child's favorite corner, namely the seafood corner.There we can see fish that are still alive and there are various marine animals that are still fresh so we can gain a little basic knowledge related to this corner.This looks simple but makes my child "getting excited" every time he is taken to the supermarket.Thank goodness the holiday was enjoyable &effective.

From this it can be seen that the most important thing in communication, even within the family sphere, is observation, getting to know more about the characteristics of each person in the family and adjusting the approach according to their characteristics.This also applies when we communicate in a professional setting, whether with our team/division, or even when communicating with clients!Making appropriate communication adjustments will attract other people so that they can build closer, trusting and sustainable relationships.Try to remember, have you observed &adapt your communication style to suit the person you are talking to?
