Belief System

by Erwin Parengkuan

In a training with 30 participants, all of whom were the Zillenials generation, for 2 full days, I had the opportunity to get to know them more closely.Delve into their thoughts and fears, especially when they will be placed in a new work area, meet with senior level people and worry about the fate of their careers.

During the last session, we asked them one by one to give a presentation without slides and present the material for a maximum of 2 minutes. This is the time I look forward to the most because I will see how well they have received the material, whether any of them have the best communication skills.

A child came forward and began to tell about his experience of taking a double degree abroad."At first I was very doubtful, would I be able to be independent without the support of my family in someone else's country? This feeling of anxiety increasingly increased before my departure. I was very worried, because I was the only girl in the family. While I was at school, my parents always picked me up and picked me up. They were very protective of me and they made me comfortable. But when it came to the decision to go to school in a foreign country, they let me go. On the other hand, there was a feeling of curiosity, could I really be separated from my family? What would happen if I got sick, who would take care of me? Ifthere is something wrong where I live, who do I ask for help?”That's what child Z babbled to us in class.I really enjoyed the story with a good plot, and of course I was curious about how the story would continue.

"Finally, when I arrived in that country, entered the university that I dreamed of, and found a place to live not far from campus, it turned out that everything I was afraid of didn't happen. This was like what my heart said when I decided to leave my family. In my heart I said, if I can't pass this "little test", what will happen to my next career?"

It turns out that it is true, a belief must be created by us.We have to believe it.We must have the ability to visualize the image in a clear picture, the more clearly we imagine it, the easier it will be for us to achieve it!When we believe, all actions will go well.If we believe, everything will happen as we imagine.Belief System is an attitude shown when someone feels capable and confident. When this feeling is cultivated it will produce truth. When we think negatively of course the results will be the same, and vice versa. When feelings of doubt arise, we should immediately analyze them, whether they have solid facts or are they just mere fears/assumptions.When we carry out this process continuously, we will also have the ability to turn fear into an effort that will produce results. If the results are not suitable, of course we will look for the best solution and it will proceed as we believe, and what we will achieve will become clearer in form.

Maximizing the Belief System as capital of belief to become the best of ourselves, in my opinion, is absolutely 100%.Various factors will continue to emerge, such as the influence of parenting patterns, then looking at figures that we can use as examples, how much accurate information we obtain, including the social environment, will make an important contribution. When this process does not support the formation of what we believe in, we should be smart in assessing it by immediately discarding the bad things and going back to looking for the best way, including looking for a healthier environment that can strengthen our belief system.Don't forget to continue to incorporate positive suggestions into yourself continuously by doing self-talk, self-reflection, self-control, self-evaluation, and self-motivation.Like an interesting story from one of the participants in my class.Oh yes, one more thing, don't forget, that we are our own masters and only we can make ourselves successful or fail and all of this comes from our Belief System. As the tagline says "Nothing is impossible!"
