Communication is an Attitude, a Behavior

It cannot be denied that the majority of Indonesian people do not really like speaking in public and being the center of attention.This is influenced by the culture of society, which since childhood does not provide many opportunities to speak and express their opinions, especially children to adults.However, on the other hand, it is clear that communication skills, both one-on-one and public speaking, are really needed for the purpose of providing information, convincing people, or influencing other people.

Unfortunately, the above condition happened to me, while on the other hand, in today's era, I really need this skill to collaborate with other people.Luckily, there is a group of experienced people who are members of TALKINC who have structured a fast learning method right from the basics.The basic thing that I think is revolutionary for me is the understanding that communication is an attitude, a behavior, there is no right and wrong in a communication skill, communication is an art.To learn optimally, the trainers at TALKINC teach the first thing to do is change your mind-set."Make yourself comfortable when talking, such as eating, drinking, breathing or other things. Other technical things can be learned," said the mentors.

I learned a lot from learning during these 9x meetings, starting from the stunning opening technique using the method: G-I-S(tory Telling)-I.Creating content is no less interesting, namely using the Flow-of-Mind method (can be arranged chronologically, supported by evidence/data, and solves problems).From these important things, I practice designing the structure and content of public speaking within a short time limit, but still hitting the target, and delivering it in an elegant way.
