Effective Communication and Presentation Skills Training
On Wednesday, July 19 2017, TALKINC held training with OJK Subdivision Head colleagues.The first session started with "Ice Breaking", as the facilitator, Adinda Djoko Sanjoto, asked each group to come forward and present the group name, motto and chants of their respective groups.All participants came forward and showed the uniqueness of each group.Then the session continued with the "Understanding People" session, where participants will find out their personalities by filling in the form provided by Talk inc.
Participants then find out which quadrant they are in, do they have a Strong, Agile, Detailed or Peaceful Personality?The facilitator asks participants to sit according to their respective personality types and then mentions their weaknesses &the advantages of each personality.Then the "Professional Positioning" session continues, where participants will fill out a form and then find out whether they are in the "I'm OK, You're OK" quadrant or "I'm Not OK, you're not OK" and so on.
Gap Generation is a session that participants have been waiting for. In this session, the facilitator will discuss how to communicate with people of different generations. At the beginning of the session, participants are shown several pictures of electronics and technology, participants guess which electronic device fits which generation.The facilitator explains about Traditionalists, Generation X, Millennials and Baby Boomers.
The next session is Impactful Presentation Skills, where participants will learn how to make good presentations, in terms of time management, content, opening, closing, flow of thinking and how to design slides that are attractive to the audience.Representatives from each group make a presentation using slides, then the facilitator will provide feedback on what was good and what needs to be improved.
