Effective Communication Training is part of Personal Branding

Last November, 25 -26 November 2015, TALKINC provided Public Speaking training for the company PT.KMK Global Sport where the level of participants starts from Main Director level to Manager level.This company is one of the most well-known shoe manufacturing companies throughout the world.The aim of this training is how to improve communication skills, especially Public Speaking and also personal branding which focuses on how to highlight your strengths so that they can be used as a positive self-image.Apart from that, this training also aims to understand and recognize different characters and be able to place oneself in different positions with the aim of building professional relationships with other people.

This training was held for two days, hosted by the founders of TALKINC, namely Erwin Parengkuan and Becky Tumewu.On the first day it was presented by Mas Erwin Parengkuan with material about personal branding and understanding people.

In this session, participants were also given material on how to increase their self-confidence when communicating in public. Apart from that, the facilitator also explained what is meant by self-concept which is related to self-image and social image. Then the facilitator also gave material on what is personal branding?What components are in personal branding?Apart from that, the facilitator explains and provides examples and practice to each participant.

Yang menariknya dari sesi pertama ini, peserta juga diberikan materi tentang understanding people dan professional positioning, dimana peserta diajarkan bagaimana mengenal lebih dalam karakter masing-masing, sehingga kita bisa menempatkan posisi kita pada saat berkomunikasi.

On the second day it was hosted by Mbak Becky Tumewu, in this session Ms Becky gave material about Effective Communication, where the aim of this session was how to improve one's abilities in terms of communication and presentation in terms of concepts, methods, content, structure flow and delivery techniques.

In this session, the facilitator provides a lot of material about communication, namely challenges, goals and communication strategies, apart from that, the facilitator also provides material about blue print communication, in which there is a series of presentations in public speaking including good opening, body content and closing.At the end of the session, participants were given a role play to perform one by one for 3 minutes and then recorded.Participants were very satisfied and happy with this 2 day training, because they got something new so that it provided great benefits to all participants in their careers.
