Permata Bintang Father and Mother's Mini Workshop – Talking Effectively to Children

Sabtu 21 Januari 2012 kemarin, Ayah dan Bunda dari Komunitas Ayahbunda Jakarta berkumpul di Playparq Kemang untuk sharing pengalaman parenting bersama Mbak Becky Tumewu.

The event, which started at 10.00 WIB, was entitled “Effective Talking to Children”.Mbak Tenik Hartono, Editor-in-Chief/Chief Community Officer Ayahbunda  gave the opening remarks followed by remarks from representatives of Ayahbunda's clients.After that, it was Mbak Becky's turn to start the sharing session with the fathers and mothers.

Fathers and Mothers are invited to self-reflect by looking within themselves, have they become the parents their children need.During the workshop, Mbak Becky shared a lot of her experiences in raising her two daughters.Fathers and mothers were very enthusiastic when telling about their childhood experiences and the development of their children.

Finally, the workshop had to end at 12.00 and as a closing, Ms. Becky showed a video about children imitating their parents' behavior.

“Children are great imitators, children's behavior is a reflection of their parents' behavior.”
