The enthusiasm of fathers and mothers at the Mother and Father Community Meeting was felt at the "Effective Talking with Children" event in the lounge, Playparq Kemang, Jakarta, 21 January 2012. The participants seemed impatient to hear tips from Becky Tumewu, presenter and founder of Talkinc who was a speaker at the event and shared with other parents who attended this event.

The editor-in-chief and father of the Ayahbunda community, Tenik Hartono, in his speech reminded parents to try to establish two-way communication with their children."We often don't realize it, we only talk in one direction to our children, we should invite them to discuss, that's how parents can understand their children's thoughts," he said.

In line with Becky Tumewu, before being able to understand children, she invites parents to get to know themselves first, "what kind of parent am I?," then build communication with their children.Becky also reminded parents to monitor their behavior towards their children."Whatever we do to our children will be remembered and can have an impact on their lives," said the mother of two children.

Apart from being able to share their experiences as parents with other participants, the fathers and mothers of the community meeting participants this time also took home Permata Bintang savings from Bank Permata worth IDR 50,000 plus IDR 50,000 from their fathers, so the participants got a balance of IDR 100,000 straight away as well as cool ATM cards for girls and boys."This savings account is intended to teach children to love saving," said Delphia Darmasari, Brand Manager of Bank Permata, Kemang branch.
