The Importance of Personal Branding for Career Women

The Personal Branding Seminar with Becky Tumewu held by WomanBlitz took place at the Bumi Surabaya Hotel, on May 31 2016. In this seminar, Becky Tumewu as one of the founders of TALKINC, a Public Speaking school and MC-TV Presenter will share about Personal Branding with career women in Surabaya, most of whom work as marketing communications, public relations and entrepreneurs.This seminar is part of the program owned by TALKINC Surabaya.

According to Becky Tumewu, there are main components in building personal branding, namely Values, Skills and Behavior which are consistently applied with the aim of presenting a person's self-image in a positive way.Becky Tumewu gave examples of several figures with strong personal branding such as Lady Gaga, Steve Jobs, and Simon Cowell as case studies that illustrate how a person's personal branding consistently displayed can provide a very strong characteristic that differentiates that person from others.Not only judging from the main components, but there are also additional components such as total look (appearance) and other uniqueness.

This interactive seminar lasts for two hours and provides a lot of information to the participants.The participants who attended were very enthusiastic about the seminar material presented by Becky Tumewu.Participants were also invited to be active in this seminar through discussions and role plays where participants were asked to name three key words that describe themselves and then present them in front of the forum.

This seminar, which carries the theme of personal branding, is expected to provide participants with insight into how to build a personal brand properly and appropriately.
As a closing message from this seminar, in building personal branding a person must start by recognizing their own potential and the qualities they possess so that they can be displayed as a positive self-image and ensure that these qualities provide benefits to others.
