Success in Public Speaking

One word that everyone is always looking for, one word with multiple meanings in the form of efforts made intentionally or unintentionally.A hope that everyone wants.We also know that climbing the "stairs" requires a long and winding path.

Dalam Public SpeakingThe word "success" truly stands alone and is supported by all the actions we must take to achieve it.The amount of advice we get directly or through social media does not necessarily make us successful people even though all the essence of success has been exposed everywhere.Links on social media have fed us with various forms of success displayed by certain figures, including many pearls of wisdom and advice from those who are considered successful.We often see those who are still alive and even those who have died on the timeline.Then why can't everyone be successful like them?Success in career, success in marriage, success in presenting?Even though all the suggestions, tips and tricks have been completely exposed on various channels!

The world population in 2024 will now reach 8 billion people, but only less than 10% will have financial success with abundant wealth, 7 generations or more.In a career in a company, it turns out that not everyone can be number 1. Some time ago I had a discussion with a leader at a BUMN who complained about his team of 8 people.According to him, only 2 people met good quality.Everyone has the opportunity to be successful in their own version, but there are general standards that can be used as a reference for a person's success.This means that everyone has the same potential to be successful, regardless of what they already have/don't have.Everything that must be done to achieve an achievement requires a long, repetitive process, requiring toughness and persistence in the process.

Success in speaking contextsin front of many people is indeed an interesting thing to discuss.Conveying a meaningful message requires a lot of effort.A person is required to be able to control themselves to be able to arrange the words they will convey, control their body language, regulate the tempo of their voice and even match the clothes they wear so that they look neat and attractive.That alone gives a clear picture of how much effort must be made in the context of speaking.If our mastery of the material is minimal, don't ever hope to be successful in convincing the other person.

In every class I give, the issue of self-confidence always arises as an obstacle to being interesting when speaking.This means that when we don't have good self-confidence, it will be difficult to go through the long process of carrying out all the actions to be successful in convincing the person we are talking to.We must first be able to convince ourselves that we are capable.By saying affirmative words followed by real action, namely trying, trying and continuing to try, until finally the affirmation is internalized so that we become confident about ourselves.“I can, I'm not sure, I definitely can, oh it's difficult, etc.” are forms of words that will later come to life and give birth to action.So be careful with the words we choose to say to ourselves because that will determine whether the process of achieving success is smooth or not.
