In our experience as training providers to many companies, both private and state-owned, as well as the government, 2 days of training is the most appropriate time to make someone open their mind and move towards improvement.Let's just say that our training module on Public Speaking is always excellent, it can change a person's mindset. On the first day of training about the importance of mastering today's modern communication techniques, on the second day where participants are then asked to make individual presentations, they look better at conveying the message.
When a division appears to be more capable of communicating after training, the objectives of the training are achieved.In line with the large demand for professionals to make presentations today, other demands also arise, namely collaboration between divisions.Many large companies have many teams and the complexity within them makes collaboration between divisions complicated. The silo effect is a "disease" that must be eradicated.Responding to the challenges that emerged, starting last year, we created a special outbound program for our business partners.Various communication tools that they must master are given on the first day, including the ability to bond between divisions, strengthen team work and sharpen the organization's core values.
Apparently, many outbound activities carried out by many companies are just outbound activities, the aim of which is only to build relationships but does not include elements of how to communicate in them.So we launched this new program and immediately became one of the new favorites that many companies have been waiting for.
Kenapa demikian ? ada 5 alasan utama yaitu:
1. Focus because it is not carried out in the office area, participants are not distracted by daily tasks
2. A different atmosphere creates "peace of mind" for participants
3. Outdoor learning activities, lots of playing, learning and digesting, are more easily accepted by participants
4. Bonding activities with impactful games provide participants with a new perspective on the importance of getting to know the other side of their team with a personal approach, someone who usually seems fierce in the office once exposed to this outbound training, it turns out that person is not that fierce, etc.
5. Collaboration is easy to create after a personal approach.
From the feedback we got, the terms "difficult to move on", "really affected" by each participant during these 2 days became the right momentum for the changes the company wanted to achieve, so that this outbound became mandatory for other divisions.
Some of our outbound activities include rafting activities (depending on the location and recreational facilities of each hotel/region), individual and group games, making learning fun while playing.Not to mention the contest which took place from the first day and named the best team, the best participant at dinner on the second day while watching each group appear to provide different entertainment treats."This was truly the best outbound experience that was impactful, it touched me and all my team. We felt fresh again, got out of the routine and got to know each person better," said one of the Group Heads to us recently.
