Communication challenges in the world of work
Communication is the lifeblood of organizational life, without it, organizations cannot run well.Companies and employees have limitations which are often due to lack of effective communication.Surveys show that an indicator of a manager being a successful manager is his ability to communicate.Communication skills are the number one indicator in measuring a manager's success.Messages can be conveyed well if communication within the company runs well.So, employees can follow an appropriate work rhythm to achieve the company's goals.
Employees are treated with respect and appreciated regarding their performance, which is one way to improve more effective communication in the office.This is certainly important in creating a productive and supportive work atmosphere.Based on the survey, there are several communication problems that are often carried out by managers which affect the atmosphere of the work environment.
Efektif leader tentu mengetahui benar pentingnya komunikasi dalam energy atmosfir kantor, yang dapat menambah koneksi dan kedekatan satu sama lain. Namun terkadang seorang leader ataupun manager merupakan pentingnya achievement recognizing pada karyawan. Adanya perasaan dihargai oleh leader merupakan sebuah harapan yang sangat di inginkan oleh karyawan. Tetapi hal ini masih sedikit dilakukan, sehingga kurangnya apresiasi menjadi masalah utama efektif kepemimpinan. Ketika generasi milineals telah masuk ke dalam lingkungan kantor, maka leader seharusnya lebih peka dengan hal ini. Faktanya bahwa generasi millenials lebih membutuhkan apresiasi daripada generasi sebelumnya.
Everyone likes to talk, as well as employees like to talk about their leader's performance.When their manager/leader provides valid information and does not withhold information, the sense of trust will increase.But vice versa.However, we often encounter leaders who cannot provide clear directions.Thus, misinterpretation will appear in office communications.
Selanjutnya, good komunikasi memang tidak hanya dapat dijalin di lingkungan kantor/professional, namun juga perlu adanya komunikasi diluar lingkungan kantor. Kesibukan leader yang memiliki waktu terbatas, membuatnya kesulitan mengatur waktu untuk bercengkrama bahkan face to face saja pun sulit. Keterbatasan ini perlu di atasi, karena menjadi tiga masalah terbesar dalam efektif leadership.
