I am a person who is often afraid of making mistakes when speaking or communicating, especially when the communication is done professionally.Even though I know and understand what I want to talk about, sometimes this fear makes what I say less than optimal.When I found out there waskelas public speaking, I am excited to take this class because I think this class can help my problems when speaking in public professionally.

During the class, all facilitators explained in detail and gave examples which were very helpful to apply in day to day communication andpublic speaking.Interestingly, all the material is packaged concisely so it is easy to understand and remember.

One of my favorite materials in class is The Opening Speech.This material provides an understanding of how to open a conversation/presentation well so that the audience has an interest in knowing what we want to convey.Apart from that, the reason I like the opening speech material is because when I start a presentation or talk I often feel confused and afraid of making mistakes when starting the presentation. If I can do the opening well, usually for the next delivery I will be more calm and confident in what I am saying.With the opening speech material, one of the materials of which is GISI (Greetings, Introduction, Storytelling & Interaction), this helps me in developing a structure for starting a presentation/talk.
